Founded in 2017, the Oxford Alpha Fund aims to be the premier student investment society in the United Kingdom, producing superior risk adjusted returns through fundamental equity research and successfully learning and teaching the practice of investment management. As of September 2023, we are managing live positions in our Student Investment Portfolio, as the first student SIP in Oxford’s 900+ year history.
We are currently a team of over 60 passionate portfolio managers and analysts coming from a wide variety of subject disciplines, from both the undergraduate and graduate student body.
Our platform provides a unique opportunity for students with a passion for the markets to hone their technical knowledge and develop practical investment theses, as well as learn how to manage a real-money, student investment portfolio.
